Quarters for Kids Campaign
This year's campaign has kicked off with the Greater Milwaukee Synod as the starting point.  Letters for congregations have gone into the mail this week and we are hoping for some great involvement from the Milwaukee congregations for the month of May.  The Quarters for Kids is an opportunity to involve the children of the congregation in helping other children to attend Bible camp.  The congregations will have a fun time competing with the other Synod congregations for the honor of being the highest grossing congregation or the highest per confirmed member.  The winners will receive a plaque and trophy and will receive special mention in the Synod newsletter and at the JUMP Music Festival '08 in August.

Synod Assemblies:
Widening The Circle Project will be present at the five upcoming ELCA Synod assemblies.  We have an information table and we would love for everyone to stop by and pick up information or make a donation.  Please introduce yourself and find out more about what we are up to.

South-Central Synod of Wisconsin - May 2-3

Greater Milwaukee - May 29-30
Metro-Chicago - June 6-7 
Northern Illinois - June 13-14

Jump Music Fest '08
The Jump Music Fest will be held Saturday, August 23rd at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center, located two miles south of Oregon, IL. Visit the Jump Music Fest website for more information.

Benefit Dinner
We could us some help with the planning for a ground breaking event.  We are forming a committee to plan the when, where, what... for this dinner event.  Please contact Jim Zei to get involved in this yearly event.

Chili Cook-off
